Exciting news for families and nature lovers in Isanti! A brand-new city park is coming to the area, and it’s shaping up to be much more than a traditional playground.
Woodland Park, located at 905 Triumph Trail NE in Isanti, is expected to be completed soon! Designed as a nature-inspired space for exploration, play, relaxation, and connection, the park will offer something for kids and adults alike. And, it is directly across from our community Fairway Greens North!
A Playground Designed for Discovery
Instead of a typical playground, Woodland Park is planned as an immersive outdoor experience designed to spark imagination and encourage exploration.
Kids will be able to discover features including:
- Hollow logs and log mazes
- Stepping stumps
- A shallow wooden cave
- A wooden boat and teepee
- An embankment slide
- Rock scrambling and rope climbing
There will also be classic swings, including an ADA swing set, along with a net climb leading to a tree deck and other unique natural play features.
It sounds like the kind of place where kids can use their imaginations, burn off some energy, and spend a little more time enjoying the outdoors.

Space for the Whole Family
Woodland Park isn’t just being designed for kids. The park will also include spaces for families, neighbors, and friends to gather and relax.
Plans include picnic tables, slab benches, and a gazebo—creating opportunities for everything from an afternoon at the park to a small gathering with family or friends.
Whether you’re watching the kids play, meeting up with neighbors, or simply enjoying some time outdoors, Woodland Park is expected to become another great community space for Isanti residents.
