Being a service to others has always been at the core of Rick’s professional career. After spending more than a decade as a school teacher, and while a member of his local volunteer fire department, Rick made the transition into real estate with the strong commitment to always put people first. Rick takes great pride in being a reliable communicator and has excelled in consistently providing an enjoyable and stress-free home buying experience. Hailing from a small farm community in southern Minnesota, Rick personally knows the benefits of living in a community like Hanover and enjoys helping make that dream living scenario possible for all of the homeowners he serves.
Rick and his wife have three teenage children, a Golden Retriever named Cecil, two Maltese Shih Tzu puppies named Mickey and Tilly, and a cat named Obi. As a family, they enjoy traveling to Florida each winter to escape from the cold and soak up the much-needed sun. Rick is a lifelong baseball fanatic and is on a bucket list journey to see a ballgame in every ballpark in America. You’ll also often find Rick outside, where he loves to golf, hunt, fish, and paddle through the Boundary Waters.
